Exact years/dates are unknown.

This series of small collages was made using a range of materials I acquired over the years. I remember making them in the first few years out of art school. My best guess would be 2009 and 2010.

Included in the collages I can identify:

- The yellow cover of Mandrake the Magician

- An orange movie poster advertising a movie festival that I assume I acquired from Dendy cinemas.

- Black painting on paper with glitter that I remember making at work in the year 2009 when I worked at the after-school-care at Yarralumla Primary School.

- Carbon copy paper that I bought, inspired by my second year painting teacher and honours supervisor, Peter Maloney. Peter shared his process often and talked about using carbon copy paper, so I was interested in working with it. I used to make little books I binded together and then wrote poetry on the pages using the carbon paper. I think some of these single words that you can find are from those books. I have never showed anyone these books or the poems.

- Black plastic

- Green plastic from a mailing parcel

- Pencil drawings on faded paper that I found that had been unused, but from the first few years of my life.

- Black paper from a magazine with gloss embossment. I remember buying it for a project in core studies in my first semester of art school in 2004.
